Does it matter that the NWT put "[other]" in brackets in Col. 1:16?

The word other doesn't really change the meaning of the scripture drastically. I'm not sure what you're trying to get at here, but both translations make it clear jesus was used by God to create all things. If u think jesus is God, then MANY scriptures (including this one)will make no sense.
